Methodist Hospital

A strong foundation for the future...

The seeds of the Henderson Regional Hospital Foundation were planted over three decades ago, in 1977, when a grateful family member offered a generous gift to the hospital's Executive Director Ron Chapman in gratitude for the wonderful care provided to her sister. This gift provided the impetus for the creation of the Henderson Regional Hospital Foundation in the spring of 1978, with a vision to provide for charitable wishes and a devotion to the highest level of patient satisfaction.

In the years that have passed, the people of this community have been unceasingly generous in their support. Gifts from donors like you have enabled Methodist Hospital to further its work, to provide a high level of services and equipment, and maintain a lower cost to the patient. For a detailed listing of funded services and equipment, click Your Gifts At Work.

The Foundation is governed by a 27 member voluntary Board of Directors representing a cross section of leaders from across our primary service area of Henderson, Union and Webster counties. You may visit Board of Directors for a directory of these elected members.

Charitable donations and community stewardship remain a vital and critical component of support for the healthcare field. The Henderson Regional Hospital Foundation is committed to support Methodist Hospital, embrace its Christian mission, and to ensure all patients receive needed healthcare. No patient is ever turned away. I urge you to review How You Can Help and explore the current and future needs of Methodist Hospital. As work now continues to complete the South Tower project, we welcome restricted gifts to complete the vision of replacing the Hospital on the existing campus, overlooking the Ohio River. It is our hope that you may wish to become involved in one or more of the exciting projects which are underway or in the planning stages.
